EXPANSION AND REFURBISHMENT OF THE AIRPORT OF CAMPINA GRANDE

Execution of the civil works and of the installations (electric, hydraulic, automation and HVAC) for the restoration and expansion of the Airport of Campina Grande – Presidente João Suassuna. 

Land Side: 
Refurbishment of the TPS building, to improve the operations in the Passengers Terminal. Where were carried out interventions in the roof, in the façades, improvements in passengers flow and expansion of the commercial areas. Given the improvements in the airport Infrastructures, works were carried out in the water, sewage, solid waste treatment and HVAC systems. Besides the installation of a new access control post (gatehouse). Remodelling of the existing parking lot and improvement in the entry and exit ways of the boarding / disembarkation area. 

Air side: 
Execution of a new aircraft apron, in order to comply with the Protection Zone Plan (PZP), with regard to the violation of the transition surface and airport operation obstacles. Runway adaptations considering the airport limits, for the setting of new RESAs in runway thresholds 13 and 33. Where, the alterations implied civil works, airport signage, micro and macro drainage adaptations. Orientation adaptation of the light signage (vertical and marking). Adaptation of the existing light marking of the whole runway and taxiway to a new geometry, aside from the necessary actions to comply with the Airport Exploitation Plan – AEP, with the installation of the new PAPI (Precision approach path indicator). 
Creation of a nee access way (Taxiway), from the new runway to the new apron. Finally the improvement of the access ways in general and of the grounds delimitation features (fencing).
