RAILWAY STATION QUELUZ/BELAS AND QUADRUPLICATION OF THE RAILWAY TRACK

Works carried out:
Quadruplication of the track between Pk 11+741 and Pk 12+279 (538 m), that entailed the execution earth retaining reinforced concrete walls (with and without anchors), to enlarge the existing platform.
Construction of prestressed reinforced concrete viaduct Jamor valley with a length of 196 m, divided in 11 spans, of which 9 with 18,5 m and the two at both ends with 14,75 m.
Construction of the new railway station Queluz/Belas with mixed structure (reinforced concrete / metallic) which develops transversally and over the railways.
Construction of passage ways and road-railway interfaces, pedestrian underpasses and a parking under the viaduct’s deck with 212 places to supprt the railway station.
