IURD – REFURBISHMENT OF BRÁS ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING

Refurbishment and adaptation services of the old building that was Itautec’s headquarters for use as an Administrative Building. The total refurbished area corresponds to 8,233.97 square meters. The building has 6 floors, which are: underground floor, ground floor, mezzanine, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, as well as annex building with ground floor, mezzanine and 1st floor. Both consist of a reinforced concrete structure, masonry external sealing, and roof with waterproofng slab and fiber cement roof. All the floors were refurbished.
The works consisted of:
– Varied demolitions in the external and internal areas;
– Restoration of facades, including the removal of existing coatings, hydroblasting, treatment of fssures and cracks, regularization and coating of painting with texture;
– Waterproofng and execution of concrete floor in the roof floors and external areas.
– General refurbishment of internal and external building areas, including the garage (underground floor), where the adjustment services of the internal layout were carried out, covering the following services:
– Masonry closure of concrete and ceramic blocks masonry with a mortared coating (roughcast, plastering and rendering coat) and plasterboard partitions (standard drywall and MR) with or without rock wool;
– Reconstruction and regularization of floors and waterproofng of wet areas;
– Application of ceramic coatings in floor and walls, application of the vinyl coating in floors, installation of raised floor with a vinyl coating, installation of granite floor, MDF, ceramic and granite baseboards and internal painting;
– Restoration of granite floors and sills;
– Installation of fxtures, steel fttings, sanitary fxtures and partitions in TS, stainless steel elements and metalwork shops;
– Installation of furniture, granite sills and windowsills;
– Execution of plasterboard lining and mineral fber boards;
– Supply and installation of PVC frames, wood doors, and iron doors;
– Installation of 2 new elevators and adaptation of existing boxes by a steel and concrete structure;
– Drainage and paving in interlock concrete blocks;
– New installations of electricity, special systems, hydraulics, and air-conditioning.
Use and adaptation of hydrant networks.
