Execution of civil works for the construction of Fronteiras’ dam, in Crateús, state of Ceará.
Fronteiras project includes the construction of a mixed dam, central axis in RCC concrete, 820 meters long and a volume of nearly 300.000 m³, and earth abutments, with a length of 980 meters and a volume of approximately 600.000 m³. The reservoir formed after the completion of the works shall have a maximum capacity of 488,18 hm³, litres of water, which is meant to supply the districts of Ibiapaba, Poti, Assis and Curral Velho and Cabaças, in the municipality of Crateús, whose levels of supply are not satisfactory, and for the irrigation of 5.000 ha of soil.
