Finishing works and special facilities in a 4-story building intended for the new research complex of the Fundão Island university campus – UFRJ. The Institute of Biomedical Sciences has a total area of 3,612.00 m², consisting of research laboratories, animal facilities, technical support areas and administrative areas. The construction includes Granlite flooring on all floors, stainless steel railings, Brise-Soleil type shading panels on the main façade and ACM coverings on the side façades. As regards the special facilities, medical gas networks and the entire ventilation, exhaust and air conditioning system were carried out to secure the end use of the building, as well as a substation.
