On March 1st, Teixeira Duarte’s Project Department participated in one of the workshops of the XI Civil Engineering Journeys at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) with the theme “BIM in practice”. The workshop provided an insight into the work on implementing BIM at Teixeira Duarte.
Due to its relevance in the area of Civil Engineering, Teixeira Duarte also joined these Conferences as a sponsor.
This event, which brings together students, teachers and companies with the purpose of enriching students’ training, offers an excellent opportunity to explore current and relevant topics, as well as to discover possible career paths in the area of Civil Engineering.
Over the course of a week full of activities, participants had the opportunity to enrich their CVs and improve interpersonal skills, which are fundamental for professional success. This year, the Journeys were broadcast online, expanding the reach of the event.
Although they are aimed at Civil Engineering students at Instituto Superior Técnico, the Conferences were open to the participation of all interested public.
