IP e consórcio LusoLav assinam contrato para a 1ª fase da Linha de Alta Velocidade Porto – Lisboa

Yesterday, 29 July, the signing ceremony for the concession contract for the first phase of the Porto-Lisbon high-speed rail line took place between Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) and LusoLav, a consortium of companies in which Teixeira Duarte – Engenharia e Construções has a 19% stake. The event took place at IP’s headquarters in Almada and was attended by the Portuguese Minister of Infrastructure and Housing, Miguel Pinto Luz.

The contract in question covers the concession of the Porto (Campanhã) – Oiã section for 30 years, with two phases: 1) development, lasting 5 years, for the design, planning, construction and financing of the infrastructure; 2) availability, lasting 25 years, for the maintenance and provision of the assets.

As announced at the time of the award, Teixeira Duarte – Engenharia e Construções’ participation in the winning consortium represents a turnover of approximately €440 million. Other companies in the Group are expected to contribute, namely EPOS and SOMAFEL in the development phase and SOMAFEL and TDGI in the maintenance phase.
