GARDUNHA TUNNEL

Execution Period: 23 Months
Construction in the bypass to IP 2, between Fundão and Alpedrinha, of a coated tunnel with a length of 1.525 m and 80 m2 of cross section, with 67 meters executed in open sky (“cut and cover”).
Execution of road section with a total length of 1.850 meters, 1 underpass, 1 agricultural crossing, the design, supply and installation of equipment – security, control, ventilation and lighting – to be installed in the section in tunnel.
Operation and maintenance for five years by the contractor.
Exacation: 281.000 m3
Backfill: 315.000 m3
Total quantity of concrete: 26.000 m3
