Teixeira Duarte – Engenharia e Construções, S.A. concluded, in October 2020, the “Contract for the Construction of the Shelter Works in the Angeiras Fishing Zone”, whose tender was launched in 2018 by the Directorate General of Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services (DGRM).
The construction of the 488-meter long pier at the Angeiras port was aimed at providing better shelter and safety conditions for boats on approach and departure for fishing. The built breakwater also provides greater protection to the buildings of fishermen and other residents of the village that develops along the beach.
The work was finished on time and within budget, has been in charge of the Geotechnics and Rehabilitation | Maritime Works of Teixeira Duarte – Engenharia e Construções, S.A.
