Client: ALNG – Angola LNG, Limited
Location: Soyo – Angola
Conclusion Year: 2015
This work comprised the design and construction of bridge-wharf (jetty) to provide support to maritime services related to the transport of natural gas coming from the Angola LNG – Liquefied Natural Gas plant; the execution of modular cantilevered structure with reinforced concrete deck, with 55 spans of 5,325m and indirect foundations, using metal tubular piles driven 29 m deep through vibration.
The pier level is +3.30 and the dredging bottom level is -7.80m.
The geological formation is composed of fine and medium grained sand, muddy in the surface layers and clayey in the underlying layers, increasing its compactness with depth.
