NEW BRIDGE OVER RIVER KWANZA – ANGOLA

Location: Catete – Cabala – Angola
Execution Period: 21 Months
Construction of a road bridge over river Kwanza, with a length of 256 meters and spans of 68 + 120 + 68 meters, being the deck constituted by a prestressed reinforced concrete box girder.
Access viaducts with a length of 1.278 meters, in reinforced concrete, with spans of 30 meters born by piers founded by Ø 1.500 mm piles and a depth going down to 60 meters.
Total length: 1.534 m

Concrete (C25/30 a C35/45): 33.870 m3
Falsework: 166.250 m3
Formwork: 53.000 m2
Passive steel: 2.600.000 kg
