ANTAS VIADUCT

Construction of the viaduct São Sebastião, Motorway A10 – Bucelas / Carregado / IP3, Arruda dos Vinhos, Portugal. Prestressed reinforced concrete viaduct, composed of two independent parallel structures, one for each direction of the traffic, with 7 spans totalling 245 meters, with a deck formed by two frame rails, cross beams over the piers and to surface slab. The piers have a V shape and shallow foundations. The deck was fully executed in situ, span by span, using falsework supported by metallic truss beams, full or half span, born by metallic towers with foundations on the ground.
