Teixeira Duarte Materials Laboratory was established in 1994 with the aim of supporting the production and quality control of concrete for the Company’s projects, ensuring the quality of its production processes.
In 1996, the Laboratory became one of the first laboratories accredited by the IPQ in Portugal in the field of concrete and aggregates, consolidating its technical position to provide specialised services to both the national and international markets.
The laboratory is equipped with a wide range of equipment for conducting over 60 different tests related to concrete and constituent materials, grouts, and mortars. Currently, the Laboratory has 9 tests accredited by IPAC.
In addition to supporting the construction sector companies within the Teixeira Duarte Group, the Materials Laboratory also offers its services to external entities, in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and the NP EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard. The services available are:
