SATU – OEIRAS AUTOMATIC SYSTEM OF URBAN TRANSPORT<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

\nExecution Period<\/strong>: 24 Months<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Design \/ Build \/ Operation (through the company SATU – OEIRAS) of an automatic system of uban transport between the railway station of Pa\u00e7o de Arcos and the extreme north of Av. Ant\u00f3nio Bernardo Macedo (Oeiras Parque zone).<\/p>\n

Fully Automatic System (no driver);
\nCable traction (clamp system to connect the vehicle to the cable);
\nTraction equipment installed at Navegantes station (1st phase), powered by electrical energy;
\nEngine braking system and brakes in the stations when of cable switching;
\nMaximum speed 11,0 m\/s (40,0 km\/h);
\nDimension of the carriages: (height\/length\/width) 3,50m x 11,20m x 2,86m.<\/p>\n

Stations:
\nAccess by standard stairs or escalators and lift;
\nAutomatic ticket dispensers;
\nAutomatic door entry with built-in ticket readers;
\nAutomatic platform doors (opening only when the train is on the station);
\nStations and vehicles equipped with CCTV system;
\nStations stoppage time – 30 seconds.<\/p>\n

Track:
\nOver viaduct in single track (maximum gradient 12,5%), 100% dedicated;
\nVehicles (trains) crossing in the stations;
\nViaducts which allow for passengers evacuation in case of emergency, along the full track length;
\nCommunication with the vehicles through the sound system and interphone system from the control centre.<\/p>\n
