Execution of the civil works and of the installations (electric, hydraulic, automation and HVAC) for the restoration and expansion of the International Airport of Jo\u00e3o Pessoa \u2013 Presidente Castro Pinto.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Land Side:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>Refurbishment and expansion of the TPS building, aiming at improving the operations in the Passengers Terminal, <\/span>by means of<\/span> boarding bridges to improve the flow of passengers, enlargement of commercial areas. Adaptations in the road system in the vicinity of the TPS. <\/span><\/span>Readaptation and construction of technical buildings: construction of the Utilities Central (UC), <\/span>in order to<\/span> make it compatible with the new cold<\/span> water cooling<\/span> system, new wastewater treatment plant, new substation and new water supply system and new change rooms.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Air Side:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>Interventions in the areas <\/span>adjacent to<\/span> the runway and runway strip, <\/span>in order to<\/span> improve drainage and macro-drainage of the airport grounds. Setting of new <\/span>RESAS<\/span> (runway end safety areas) in the runway thresholds 16 and 34 of the levelling runway of the prepared lane, thus ensuring operational safety Setting of a new TAXIWAY, given the reconstruction of Aprons 01 and 02 and the expansion of Apron 02 for <\/span>aircraft<\/span> code <\/span>3C<\/span>, together with new service <\/span>ways .<\/span> Improvement interventions in Apron 02. <\/span><\/span>With the interventions and <\/span>reconstruction<\/span> the airport <\/span>increases to 8 the number of positions.<\/span><\/span> Adaptation of the existing light marking of the whole runway and taxiway to a new geometry, aside from the necessary actions to <\/span>comply with<\/span> the Airport Exploitation Plan – AEP, with the installation of the new PAPI (Precision approach path indicator). <\/span>Finally<\/span> the improvement of the access ways in general and of the grounds delimitation features (fencing).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
