{"id":14410,"date":"2023-02-15T17:36:38","date_gmt":"2023-02-15T17:36:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/teixeiraduarteconstrucao.com\/?p=14410"},"modified":"2023-02-15T17:36:38","modified_gmt":"2023-02-15T17:36:38","slug":"teixeira-duarte-is-part-of-the-european-research-project-greenexus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/teixeiraduarteconstrucao.com\/en\/teixeira-duarte-is-part-of-the-european-research-project-greenexus\/","title":{"rendered":"Teixeira Duarte is part of the European research project GreeNexUs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"big\">Teixeira Duarte \u2013 Engenharia e Constru\u00e7\u00f5es, S.A. integrates the <a href=\"https:\/\/cordis.europa.eu\/project\/id\/101073437\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">GreeNexUS Consortium<\/a>, which is part of <em>Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions<\/em>, the European Union&#8217;s reference program for doctorates and post-doctorates, leading the theme &#8220;Green-BIM&#8221;.<br \/>\nThrough this collaborative program, based on \u201cTraining through Research\u201d, Teixeira Duarte will guide the work of a PhD student with the objective of: (1) creating a \u201cframework\u201d for the promotion of green buildings as engines for improving urban quality and environmental health in future low-carbon societies; (2) create a BIM workflow for designing high-performance green buildings, as a basis for standardizing repeatable, consistent, and intuitive processes; (3) define guidelines for new professional requirements and future platforms to accelerate BIM development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"big\">Accepting the challenge that was launched directly by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unibo.it\/en\/homepage\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">University of Bologna<\/a>, the entity that coordinates the programme, Teixeira Duarte is, together with 6 European universities, the beneficiary of this fully financed project, being the only company with this status in the consortium. In addition to the 7 beneficiaries, GreeNexUS also includes 12 non-funded European companies and universities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"big\">The application for this Project was selected by the European Commission, with GreeNexUS starting on January 1, 2023 and ending on December 31, 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"big\">GreeNexUs is funded by &#8220;Horizon Europe&#8221;, the European Union&#8217;s Research and Innovation framework program, and allows a total of 20 institutions from 9 European countries to work on 10 specific and multidisciplinary themes that aim to transform Europe&#8217;s cities to become greener, healthier and safer, helping to reduce threats to the mental and physical well-being of an aging society with growing inequalities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"big\">The GreeNexUs \u201cKick off\u201d meeting took place on the 6th and 7th of February in Italy, at the Polo de Imola of the University of Bologna.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teixeira Duarte \u2013 Engenharia e Constru\u00e7\u00f5es, S.A. integrates the GreeNexUS Consortium, which is part of Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions, the European Union&#8217;s reference program for doctorates and post-doctorates, leading the theme &#8220;Green-BIM&#8221;.
