Teixeira Duarte – Engenharia e Constru\u00e7\u00f5es, S.A. created a new production support area at its Montijo Operational Centre. Inaugurated in 2011, the Teixeira Duarte Operational Centre in Montijo is installed in an area of over 130,000 m\u00b2 and includes areas dedicated to metalworking activities, areas for work on equipment, a Materials Laboratory, a Concrete Production Centre, among other operational support structures.<\/p>\n
The operational unit now created – the Armature Production Centre (CPA) – aims to industrialize the activities of preparing, cutting and shaping steel for reinforcement assembly.<\/p>\n
For this purpose, the CPA is equipped with different mechanisms and technological solutions that automate the various construction processes, freeing a large part of the manual work associated with them and contributing to an increase in efficiency and productivity on site.<\/p>\n
The first contract to integrate prefabricated elements by the CPA is the construction work of the “BigCity Asprela” university residence in Porto.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
