{"id":14274,"date":"2022-05-30T08:43:32","date_gmt":"2022-05-30T08:43:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/teixeiraduarteconstrucao.com\/sustainability\/objetivos-de-desenvolvimento-sustentavel\/"},"modified":"2022-05-30T13:37:55","modified_gmt":"2022-05-30T13:37:55","slug":"sustainable-development-goals","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/teixeiraduarteconstrucao.com\/en\/sustainability\/sustainable-development-goals\/","title":{"rendered":"Sustainable Development Goals"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row tm_bgimagefixed=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;14277&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text]In 2018, the Teixeira Duarte Group began a process of adopting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as a global framework for shaping, conducting and reporting on the actions and targets of its subsidiaries in the field of Sustainable Development, as it identified great affinities between its corporate vision on Sustainability and these Goals.<\/p>\n<p>The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were set at a UN summit in 2015 and unanimously approved by 193 member states to create an ambitious agenda for poverty eradication and economic, social and environmental development on a global scale by 2030. The fulfilment of this plan, known as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, presupposes an unprecedented sharing of efforts on a global scale, between all countries and agents, both public and private.<\/p>\n<p>The Teixeira Duarte Group has carried out an assessment of the impacts of the activities developed by its subsidiaries on the global priorities and aspirations for 2030 defined in the 17 SDGs.
